Why join the Picturing Climate Network?
Explore the latest research on climate change and collaborate with experts in the field. Join the Picturing Climate Network to:
-
Appear on the PCN Collaborations Map — make your research visible to potential collaborators, funders, and institutions actively looking for interdisciplinary partners.
-
Be part of a UKRI-funded research network — connect directly with the EASE consortium across De Montfort University, the University of Birmingham, Nottingham Trent University, the University of East London, and the Ashmolean Museum at Oxford
-
Get early access to CAM training and events — priority invitations to Artist Venturing Labs, interdisciplinary workshops, and the annual PCN conference programme before they open publicly
-
Access the PCN Resource Library — curated tools, methodologies, and publications on art/science climate communication, including open-access materials developed through EASE
Membership takes two minutes. We'll never share your details or send you anything irrelevant.

An Open Network...
PCN is open to artists, photographers, filmmakers, and visual practitioners whose work engages with climate, environment, or sustainability; scientists and researchers whose work connects to climate or environmental change and who are interested in creative approaches to public engagement; academics studying the intersection of art, science, and environmental communication; curators, museum professionals, and cultural organisations programming art–science work; and anyone whose practice sits at this intersection, regardless of career stage or geography.
Membership is free. There are no formal obligations.
What we ask is that you bring genuine interest in connecting across disciplines and a willingness to share your practice with the community. As a member, you’ll be listed in the PCN directory and map (if you want to), have access to the full network for introductions and collaboration, receive invitations to PCN conferences, events and programmes, be eligible for collaborative grant applications and co-authored publications, and receive the PCN newsletter. To join, use the form above or via our contact form. We’ll be in touch within a week.
