EASE People: the Assemblage
EASE thinks in terms of assemblages: gatherings of people, places, materials and ideas that together produce something none of them could produce alone. The term comes from philosophy and the social sciences, where it helps explain how knowledge is made and shared across boundaries.
We put the idea to work through the Climactic Assemblages Methodology (CAM), our interdisciplinary project framework. CAM brings artists, scientists, researchers and diverse partners together in the field. It is designed to create room for creativity and real exchange between disciplines.
The network above is our assemblage: the people involved in EASE and the connections between them.
