The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has announced the winners of its 2026 Environmental Photography Award, with British-German wildlife photojournalist Britta Jaschinski taking the grand prize for 'Handprint on Sea Turtle' — an image made under UV light that reveals a forensic fingerprint used to identify and prosecute wildlife traffickers. The work transforms scientific crime-fighting into striking visual art, foregrounding the intersection of justice, conservation, and photography. The winning photographs will be exhibited on Monaco's Promenade du Larvotto from 28 May to 30 July 2026 before touring internationally.
